The line up for the 2009 Strawberry Park Bluegrass Festival on May 28-31 is now complete, with the recent addition of The Boston Boys. This year will also feature the addition of a folk music and dance tent on Saturday, May 30, with Tracy Grammer, Girl Howdy, Red Molly & The Kennedys. Local Bluegrass fans should note that Del McCoury will be performing at the Little Theatre in New Haven this weekend (see http://www.guitartownct.com/ for more info). Del was at our event about 5 years ago, and always puts on a great show. He has also started to host his own festival (DelFest) on Memorial Day Weekend, down in Maryland. Local Cajun/Zydeco dancers are reminded that the Mardi Gras Ball in Pawtuxet, RI is just a few weeks away (Feb 21), with Steve Riley and more http://mardigrasri.com/

While I was a little off with my snowfall predictions for yesterday, the roads were somewhat slick. Can't wait for this weekend's thaw.
