Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Shirley Alston Reeves will return to Strawberry Park for our Oldies Weekend on May 2, 2009. The former lead singer of the Shirelles has appeared here in the past, but it has been a few years since her most recent visit. Be sure to take part in our current survey, helping choose our favorite song. We are also pleased to have the Outriggers as the band that will take the stage before Shirley. The Outriggers will also make numerous other appearances at Strawberry Park throughout the season, and although all dates have not yet been confirmed, it looks like they will be poolside on the following Sunday nights: July 19, Aug 9..as well as the Sunday afternoon of Labor Day Weekend (Sept 6) and Saturday night Aug 29.
